Video Is A Great Way to Feature Products

We talk a lot about the benefits of adding video to your website:

It helps you become more visible on the web; when a web surfer Googles search terms related to what you do or sell, you’ll likely come up on the Search Engine Results Page but your position could be number 299,000 out of 500,000 results.  However, if the user clicks on “Video” to filter the results to just those content-relevant sites with video, a much, much shorter list will come up.  If you’ve got video on your website, you’ll be on that shorter list.  And if you’ve actively promoted your video, you’ll come up higher still on that list.

A less well known benefit is time-on-site web rank boosting.  Your website rank is influenced by how long visitors spend on your site once they arrive on a page.  With video, they stay longer, and your site rank improves.

Here’s a video that our parent company, Publicity Pros created for one of their clients, Eco-Artware, for their Cubebot toy.  All the client had to do was supply us with some photos and info about their product.  They actually just used photos they already had on hand from their web page.  Publicity Pros did the rest in less than a day and for just $145!
